Here at Family Meals, Inc., we’re all about supporting our local students, families and school staff who may be facing food insecurity. We’ve teamed up with School Resource Deputies & Officers in St. Lucie County to organize a summer monthly food distribution.
We’ve joined hands with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Officer to make this happen. It’s a collaboration we’re proud of and one that brings us closer to our community. Yet, there’s another side to our initiative. “See Something Say Something”
We want to shine a light on the compassionate side of our School Resource Deputies & Officers in St. Lucie County ( SROs/SRDs). We believe that by showing them as a source of comfort, not just discipline, we can strengthen the bond between them, the school students and the wider community. But it doesn’t stop there.
Our goal is to provide food in a manner that not only respects but also brings joy to students and families. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about filling bellies, it’s about fostering a sense of community and dignity.
Let’s build a stronger, more compassionate community together. We need monetary donations, food donations and volunteers to make this initiative successful.
Corporate sponsors are encouraged and needed. Multiple $250.00 donations are needed to assist families this summer.
